We all know what the West End is, but how often do we actually go there? How many times have you actually taken the time to walk around, catch a show and just BE in the West End? Millions of people travel to Broadway in New York every year - just to be there, so why not the same in London? You’ll be pleasantly surprised!
There is such a buzzing, excited atmosphere it’s almost like being in a real life theme park, jumping from the land of Oz in Wicked, to rural suburban America in Matilda, all the way back round to the terraced houses of Newcastle, you can understand why it’s called Theatreland.
So what is there to do? The most important thing to do is go and catch a show, the glitzier the better. Most people think theater glamor can’t be topped by Broadway but after you go and see Chicago or Pricilla: Queen of the Desert, you may wish to rethink that.
